A sequel just got announced for the fall and for the first time ever it will have a simultaneous global release.
Any Yakuza game they play has to be on Playstation, and Judgement and it's sequel have not been released on PC. They are the only Yakuza mainline games where the PS version is categorically the best version available.
It's primarily an action game, and the detective elements are very easy and able to be brute-forced. There is a hidden cat to find in every crime scene you investigate. She will love it.
It's set in the Yakuza universe but without the lore backlog of the main series. People think Yakuza 0 is a lore-free starting point, but they miss out on tons of subtle connections and don't appreciate the full depth of the story. Judgement is made to be a first impression.
