>>17663007Takamori is a genius **fictional** pairing. The concept of a Phoenix being in love with Death is so fun, Mori's goth aesthetic with Kiara's bubblegum aesthetic is also a huge draw. So the appeal is there, if this was a written story the characters would make a great pair be it in drama or even SoL.
The problem was that these are real people and you can't force real chemistry. Mori was clearly not into playing along and it just made things awkward, there's really no difference in behavior between Mori and her RM and she obviously doesn't want that.
In another life I can see another girl who is really into the kayfabe get Mori's character and make Takamori an amazing couple but we didn't get that. In the end Kiara developed a natural relationship with Ame which is way better than a scripted pairing so i'm still okay with how things turned out.
