The space between the two was probably 3 feet, and anything in between them would be picked up ridiculously well. Similar quality to a proper binaural mic having something rubbed alongside it. When the person made a sound behind their back it was almost inaudible though. If that could be applied to her neighbors, they'd never be heard again. I'm not sure the quality matches up with the ku100 though, and instead of being stereo binaural, it'd be like mono binuaral
