And EN has none. EN is also a way smaller branch yeah but well, it's painful watching EN zoomer girls act like there's nothing to stream when Koyori can make Super Mario World a key part of her content just because she feels like it. Not following trends, not worried about whatever the current meme games and buff games are. You can argue Ame does exactly this with playing through all the 3D marios but those aren't as retro as these. Also Koyori has her Hotto News and lots of other various streams. But the Mario ones (and her Ghosts n Goblin ones) are my favorite things from her really so far. Somehow it feels like she really found her thing.
I guess you can also argue maybe the JP audience has a higher demand for 2D retro games although I think that's just kind of unproven because no EN girl has really tried to explore this niche yet, and clearly it has some interest in it in there being a whole thread about retro chuubas here on this board.
