if you're 7 ft tall, people expect you to play basketball. if youve got a deep baritone voice, people expect you to be an opera singer or do voiceovers
the real question is does he not want to do it because he doesnt wanna be sexualized (even in non-sexual asmr) or is it just because he likes being a contrarian to expectations
either way it's a shame. doing voiceover work for audio dramas would be cool tho
