>>14909255>I don't watch Aki at a, what are her problems?Aki doesn't have a problem in itself. What she lacks is any redeeming quality.
She (like Mio, for instance) got unlucky as fuck and had long hiatus at the EXACT points where Hololive exploded worldwide. That ended up keeping her outside the box and for the longest time she was the lowest subbed chuuba of the branch.
To compound her problem
1) she (and Choco) fell head over heel for Ark after Coco introduced it to the girls and even when the meta moved from Ark to FOTM (back then Fall Guys IIRC) she stuck with ARK to a decent but increasingly insular audience.
Choco was smart and pushed her Ark addiction to her sub channel (hence the fact it is the final boss of the tutorial stage) but Aki didn't and spammed Ark for longer than it would be wise
>pic related (see the blue blob)2) then to add insult to injury the BREAKTHROUGH moment for Aki was when her saying "yeah, I'm anxious I'm the runt of the company, all the other girls are getting ahead and I'm getting left behind) got FUCKING VIRAL and Reddit had a "we did it reddit" moment and all of them subbed to her at once.
At first it was a beautifull moment: she woke up the next day having jumped 20k subs, from 180k to 200k and was eternally grateful.
Reddit crowd patted themselves in the back, spammed her chat, requested all sort of things that she tried her best to oblige (neglecting her established audience) and then they got bored and never actually watched her stream on the regular.
End result: she didn't get a new audience, she lost whatever small audience she built before, end result was negative.
Bottom line is: Aki was likely born over an indian cemetery, broke some 13 mirrors during her life and crossed seventeen black cats to be this fucking unlucky
