>>88045914Most of what I eat is so simple, I'm not even sure you can really call it cooking. But I largely live off the same meals I learned to cook before I left home. (Pasta + tomato sause, baked/mashed potatoes, home-made pizza, scrambled eggs, pan-fried steak, frozen peas/carrots/corn).
I've tried more fancy stuff from youtube, but it almost never sticks around. I think it's because I'm really bad about managing ingredients, it takes too long, requires too many tools, or I can't get it to taste good. The only thing that I learned to cook from youtube that's stuck with me, is fried calf liver. (Seems pretty satiating, but I only eat it about once every other week, to every few months.)
I guess my advice would be to pick something you like eating (preferably that's also satiating / nutritious), try making it a few times at home, then adjust the recipe to suit what's convenient / palatable to you.
