After seeing that chart for Ayame, I got curious on how other talents have changed their streaming habits over their Hololive careers. Started out with Gen1 but only got through to the end of 2019 for now. A few things that stood out for me
1) Did Mel have a completely different contract than the rest of Gen1? I know she was initially slated to be a Gen0 until Hitomi Chris got erased then got added over into the group but wowie, it was really telling to see how vastly different her efforts were compared to everyone else.
2) The whole Aki's career got ruined by a car accident at the start seems to be debunked. If it did occur, it happened after she had been streaming for 6 months and the top streamer in all of Gen1 at that. Even with the hospitalization after the car accident, she never really took an extended break but just saw a brief period of reduced streaming for 3 months.
3) Did the debuts of Gen3 light a fire under all their girl's asses or did Cover mandate some boost to their streaming efforts? All the girls save for Aki put in their peak streaming numbers during this early period in the months following Gen3 Debuts.
