I used to dislike it a lot, in large part due to my idea of what Twitch chats and communities were like (which I was definitely right about for larger streamers) but since i started streaming there myself I've turned around on it a bit.
I do dislike that a lot of people just play copyright content directly on stream (react tubers) due to the lack of vods or channel takedowns for such things, but if you just avoid react tubers you'll be good.
I think overall youtube is better due to things like members only streams but Twitch can be good too.
