>>63964372Generally speaking? Human decency
As much as LARPers talk a big game about not caring what other people think being the key to "happiness", that sidesteps the unfortunate reality that social shame is the bedrock for societal standards
The fact that people have become inconsiderate narcissists who don't care what others think is a primary causal factor for social isolation and is, for example, a major element of why so many places have deteriorated into unsightly shitholes with terrible, potholed roads filled with litter, despite the fact that even literal povertyfags a century ago would have kept the streets clean and presentable despite sometimes having to resort to burning the furniture to survive the winter. It's also why public school teachers in the US and UK have become unionmonkeys who obsess over pay, benefits and time off rather than the development of the children for its own sake as a form of public service, partly why the UK particularly is seeing an increase in primary school children who aren't potty trained, etc.
Humans are properly supposed to care about each others' thoughts, feelings and sensibilities, and choosing not to care is basically just a short-sighted cope for the fact that the social fabric has been broken beyond repair. That's the reason generally, at least. If you just meant that PARTICULAR anon, on the other hand, I don't know.
