Historically, the West mostly hasn't, aside from the concept of original sin and some questionable interpretations of Bible verses about generational punishments and curses. Our thinking is very focused on the individual, and punishing a child for The Sins of The Father doesn't mesh with that. But I guess that cultures who obsess over their ancestors, and think that they have anything to do with your fate or worth as a person, are probably a different story.
>>49626650Sounds good to me. The crispness of a small amount of celery can add a great texture contrast to mostly homogeneous foods without impacting flavor too much. It could work in sushi for the same reason people put it in chicken salad.
