Think of the Takodachi, where because it's a squid it's round at the top but it's both half usually frills out and it has a halo little sticks out onto of it's crown. Or the SSRB where it's mostly just a grey/black orb but the little limbs its has and bomb fuse on it's back gives a unique shape
The issue Death-sensei is that it's mostly just a black orb, with a white splotch on it's face, it's most defining features would be either it's skull or it's sunglasses but 100% of the time the people in charge of designing these plushes choose to make those a flat print on it's head rather than actual make it apart of the plush
