It's a pretty good book that posits the main reason some nation-states are successful, while other nation-states aren't, is that successful nations, through the course of history, managed to establish strong institutions where the aim of said institutions was general prosperity for the mass of people or "Inclusive Institutions," whereas unsuccessful nations have institutional legacies of extraction-based politics, aka, a culture that exists solely to enrich the ruling elite by extracting economic wealth from the country, or "Extractive Institutions."
I feel that Nijisanji EN had a business culture of Extractive Institutions, whereas Hololive EN had a business culture of Inclusive Institutions.
On the cultural side, I believe the Nijisanji EN culture among the talents was that of an Extractive Society, where the people seen as "on top" would utilize the organization they were in to extract as much short-term success as possible, even at the cost of other talents. Meanwhile, Hololive EN's culture among talents was an Inclusive one, where the talents "on top" did not act to gatekeep their success from others, and talents generally sought to elevate everyone within the organization. Although there is a brief period where this almost caused harm to the branch in 2022, the organization's inclusive nature allowed for it's talents to recognize this, reorient themselves, and restructure their priorities to redevelop a strong society on new terms within the branch.
Some of this applies to the Japanese side of the corporations as well, but I can only speak with certainty on the EN side of things, being an English speaker.
