>>15797405I'm gonna post my honest thoughts on this stream, although I'm sure some schizos will take it and run with it to strawman schizo rage thoughts. I am disappointed that Kronii did not stream her POV, especially in a collab game like Mario Kart, which is more important to see her POV than say if people are streaming Cuphead or Smash Bros where they are all on the same screen and you can see what's going on. I have no doubt that streaming and trying to entertain at the same time is difficult, probably made even more difficult by the language barrier, it's hard to interact with your Senpai if your Japanese is lacking, which hers is. Nonetheless, I feel like all of this is part of her job and it's her responsibility, not only to try, but also to try to get better, the most obvious method being by repeated exposure. Which won't happen if she does not stream her POV in collabs like this.
To Kronii's credit she did eventually open up in the 2nd half and start interacting and reacting more. However this was only due to an absolutely Herculean effort by Polka to get and keep her involved in the stream. Seriously, Polka is the MVP of this stream, she attempted to fill every single bit of dead air with SOMETHING and gave Kronii many things to play off of, which she only really started taking advantage of later in the stream. I also suspect that she sandbagged so we could see what Kronii was doing, I saw Kronii on Polka's stream at least a third of the time compared to the other two viewpoints. Watame and Sana did pretty well, but it feels unfair to put all the burden on Polka, had she not stepped up, I feel like the stream would have been mostly Watame, Sana, and Polka talking because their Japanese is better than Kronii's. Thankfully we got a pretty even distribution of talking near the end, but again it was because of Polka pulling Kronii into the collab, rather than Kronii's effort herself.
Overall I'd like to see Kronii improve and try to contribute more to collabs. Again I understand it's not easy to stream AND entertain. And again it must be even harder when you are the weakest in a language everyone else is speaking. However I maintain that comes with the territory and so far, it doesn't seem like she is trying to improve.
I still love Kronii and will continue to support her. I would like to see her get better.
