The only thing I could see working would be an organized group effort, like a letter signed by hundreds of fans and presented to Cover and posted online. But then cue the claims of harassment and just trying to make her feel bad, drive her off, etc. And of course a huge backlash from the mainstream fans about muh parasocial incels and all that.
I really don't think there's a viable solution. I hate thinking that, I hate giving up, but it just seems to be reality. If you can think up of a plan that might actually work, be my guest. Seriously.
