When I see a failed suicide attempt in the ICU it's always a woman who tried to slit her wrists or take a bunch of pills at once whereas you have men shooting themselves or jumping off bridges that is less forgiving.
They probably exist but I've yet to meet one of these people who don't heavily regret trying to end it after it failed.
