I don't think I've been to a single public discord where the mods aren't assholes or the users are a bunch of egotistical gatekeeping pricks who try to shoot down anyone who has a slightly different opinion than theirs and constantly mocks/shit talks new people. That's why I like to use 4chan, because it's all anonymous and people can be more honest with themselves without having to conform to a hivemind of sorts. Also I like this website because as much of a shitty place this can be, it can also be a really heartwarming one too.
