>>80554843It's true. The slower pace of Dark Souls means there's a very simple and solid combat system, where every boss move has a solid and simple reaction you're supposed to use to get past it. Once you figure it out, you can just freely employ the same method over and again to easily defeat the boss. It's very simple, if not trial-and-error to figure out the method to beat the bosses.
In Elden Ring there's just a lot of spazzing around and you rarely if ever can even see what's happening and what you're supposed to do. There's way less learning involved and it's more of just a stat check and slamming your head against the wall.
Of course you can still figure out the way to beat the bosses in Elden Ring, but it's never as obvious and meaningful as in Dark Souls.
