If she feels down by her performance it also explains why she's so overly attached to vox for comfort.
Reimu's rep at this point is being Vox's girl and that's it. People are always surprised to hear her singing which is one of her biggest talents, side to side with her language skills.
Like anons said earlier Reimu is an average niji fan that got in to have fun and live her dreams; not to please her audience.
And there's nothing wrong with that, but it's also not very entertaining to watch for most people.
