real answer is there's not much of an opportunity to really think much on it since they usually end up in their own threads and move in other social circles, but generally I'd say there's not much of a difference in status. they still have a significantly bigger boost compared to those who've always been indie though, but it'd be stupid to think of them as lesser because of it.
