It's fairly obvious, and has been for a few years now, that Cover has never thought for a moment about treating the business end of the EN branch seriously. Gura, the TOP dog of EN and one of the top dogs of Hololive as a whole, has had an orisong stuck in retard jap hell for what, 3 years now? That's proof alone that Cover is genuinely too ill-equipped to handle managing a JP branch *and* an EN branch, and instead of trying to actually treat the EN branch with the respect it deserves (although them deserving it is much more subjective in /vt/) they've just thrown some borderline indie fast wood wagie tier managers at the EN girls and just beg buddha to not have a bomb go off over there. Problem now is, clearly that was a retarded decision, and them rushing to build an EN branch headquarters/studio overseas is a clear indication of the EN talents finally screaming enough about how awfully they get treated, about how often they get shit shot down or straight up get left on read by EN *and* JP management, about how pants-on-head retarded it is that they, unlike the JP branch, are the only ones that have to stretch themselves out flying back and forth between japan and their homeland for Cover events/festivals/etc. When the fuck has Fubuki or Pekora ever flown to america or england to record shit? they don't have to wake up to an email from your foreign boss telling you to drop everything and prepare to fly to a completely foreign nation and spent god knows how long recording mocap footage and singing for a fake ass concert. EN gets the shortest end of the stick possible, yes the job is absurdly easy as a STREAMER, but trying to imagine the logistical hoops Cover is clearly making the EN talents jump through, can't say i'm surprised some of them are dropping like flies. Moom feels like a genuine exception here because of her illness, but i don't believe anyone would say with a straight face Fauna or Amelia would have still graduated if the EN branch wasn't treated like a dumpster. Cover has unironically spent half a decade coasting on a ticking nuclear bomb with the EN girls having to do everything themselves (remember Amelia bending over backwards and killing herself commissioning assets and doing boatloads of studio work for various fullgen collab events and holidays?), and with these recent graduations the situation overseas is finally becoming clear. Cover needed to take this shit seriously after Myth blew up, but their stupid jap minds thought the work would just all get done for them.
