>>87089137I was looking up vids on people working on AI states for taking cover and my assumption would be to just place nodes on the map which could be decent cover points but I figured that would be really inefficient and this one guy said he used the blank spaces in navigation meshes where they meet walls for determining cover (which seems pretty fucking cool considering the emergent behavior) but then in an updated video said he went with the node method because the other one was too fucking buggy
