>>93174767I see. I didn't love season 2, but I didn't love season 1 either.
What I remember about season 2 is that some things felt childish. Like, in the first episode, when MC is trying to find the "handsome guy with a suitcase", he's hired the fucking korean yakuzas or something. And the main "yakuza" guy is like "I dunno, man, that's a lot of stations, we need more money", and MC gives him a huge bag full of cash. Overjoyed, that guy goes back to his other guys, and I think, holy shit, this naive dumbass, they're totally playing him. But no! Fucking thugs who look like they do human trafficking are playing by the rules and honorably do what they were paid to do - they actually go to the station, they actually sent photos and reports. What? He's just one guy with seemingly limitless cash. Nobody, NOBODY thought about just jumping him and pulling his teeth until he tells you where he keeps the money?
Or that conversation he had with the cop and the guy who's boss was killed by the recruiter dude. And that surviving thug is like "Nah, I'm not doing this for the money!" Alright, alright, I guess street thugs ARE very honorable.
Or when he hired all those ex-marines, ex-military, police, whatever. And then ARMED them. Those guys are even more dangerous and deranged than you korean yakuza, what are you doing?! But ALL of them are like "Oh yeah, yup, sure thing boss, we'll do everything you tell us to do and won't even think about betraying you and running with the money."
Stuff like this happens later too, but this is from first 2 episodes. I'm watching this and I'm thinking oh yeah, I'm watching fiction, for impressionable teens.
