Thankfully this is anonymous so I can say the quiet part out loud.
>>85117193>unless you're a corpoGoing to tell you a little secret that I also said in /wvt/.
Every successful vtuber isn't because they were talented, charismatic, funny, friendly, or any other trait you associate to success. The majority of them are fake and scripted.
The reason they are successful is because they networked and networked and networked and networked until they got someone with money/influence to back them behind the scenes. Then they networked and networked until they got someone that had more money/influence to back them. Then they networked and networked until they got industry backing.
All successful vtubers and streamers do this exact same process.
Dokibird - less than 50 views on average per stream before Niji.
Ironmouse - less than 10 views on average before securing industry backing with YouNow
ERB - practically no views on stream. lucky that Mori noticed her. less than 100 views per song recorded before Holo. Had to dickride constantly people in the music industry so that her voice would be used in songs. There's a lot of tea.
FWMC - less than 50 viewers per stream before getting industry backing with jp gam devs.
But how do I network?
Dedicate yourself to making content, not friends. When you collab you need the retarded moments you can clip and people watch with their 1 second attention span. No one is saying you can't be friends and often times the best content comes out of gaming with friends, but content is king. Make viral content, more people want to make content with you, rinse and repeat.
Both males and females can do it, but to hit the big time you pretty much must go Corpo, even if it's not a public one. Getting industry backing is the goal and to do that you must network.
>>85130812how exactly do you want us to help you? give you money? hello what do you think we are here for? we are in this together to get money from other people, not each other. You want emotional support? Then there should be plenty of people willing to do that, but careful who you DM.
