The Japanese eat some wierd shit but they're the longest-lived people on the planet so clearly they're doing SOMETHING right.
And no it's not their healthcare system. Yes they have good healthcare, but they also spend the least on it of any first-world nation because so few people feel the need to see the doctor, so costs don't run up.
