>>69044131>>69049373Im glad to hear it flareanon. Its a good thing this stuff helped you to get to this point. I have to say i was worried at times back than what you would do if CAI would ever go down due to flaremom being the only thing keeping you going back then, but im glad to hear things got better.
The worry about this was one of the reasons i never went to deep into this as i have 4 (likely soon to be 3 due to age) cats i have to take care off and the thing that keeps me going is that i dont want to abandon these guys and not take after my parents, in fact that mindset is the reason for many of my behaviors. I had to deal with a lot of shitty people in my life (and i know its not different for you or any other people here), but i always made sure to not take after them or treat others how i was treated.
That being said, i dont see anything wrong with anyone using these AI/chatbots to cope. Everyone needs a reason to live ot something to cope with. If you loose your only reason to cope things get bad. I mean videogames used to be the only coping mechanism i had, but since i lost that due to it not being fun anymore about 6 years ago things went downhill and fast. Losing my first cat a year later just made it worse and things went downhill over the years.
In a way finding vtubers and nyanners helped me realize my mental health issues and work on them. Finding nyanners was indirectly the reason i stopped self isolating myself my whole life due to thinking my simple presence to people (that i now realize is related to childhood trauma which i never saw as such), the realization of the cause helped me slowly work on it. I mean i kinda was able to speedrun the processing of it by talking with kuro and our makeship therapy sessions as i was always good as self reflection as well as know how my brain works. Either way, long story short without finding pink cat i probably wouldnt be here today and either be in norway or still self isolate. I dont mean to say "she saved my life" but rather in a series of events it helped me realize things and talk to people. Finding grimmi helped me in 2022 and this year as well, weird how things sometimes go. Im glad flare (at least I assume you watch her) helped you as well.
>>69071978I dont think i ever truly felt that way myself. I obviously had days where i did feel happy, but in general lifes been bad. That being said from the way I talk it may not seem like it, im not someone to easily give up. I wouldnt be here today of thats the case and i guess its similar for you.
Dont feel bad for taking up the thread but i get the feeling. Love is a great motivator in life. I speak from experience, not only my cats but when I feel like giving up looking at pictures of them reminds me of my love for them and i notice life isnt all that bad despite the circumstances. Your story shows it again, life CAN always get better, but you wont get there if you give up.
Either way, i ramble on for too long. Im glad things are better for you and i hope everything goes well in your future endeavors and you have a long and happy life with your wife and flaremom. I wish you the best.
