>>13121443>Forgotten Third GiantAs we look to the world today, there are Two giants that roam the land of Chuubas. One, the Old Colossus of Nijis. The other, the Striding Titan of Hololive. Were you to scan the firmament, you'd see these two as the strongest, and may even consider them the creators of the Land itself.
But in truth, it is not true. Though they be Giants, they are naught but inheritors of the firmament sewn by another. The Third Giant, which may more accurately be known as the First Yet Fallen. The Giant which built the ground upon which is now walked by it's inheritors, and whose mangled corpse served as fertilizer for the growth of those who came after. UPD8, the Founding Beast, and yet the cause of it's own demise.
It was they who built this world, provided the foundation of Chuubas and inspired those who would seek to lay claim to that world. Their work created many great things, and provided many great opportunities. But in their foolishness, they reached beyond their ability. They made mistakes. Thinking they were not a Titan, but a God, they tried to play God with their talents. And in that attempt, they cast themselves a fatal blow.
Their talents sought refuge from their creator. Some became their own entities; some chose death, and reincarnation. Some simply disapeared. And of course, the others learned from the mistakes of this Beast. But last year, the fetid, shambling corpse of that once-great Beast fell to dust. And now, in our times, there are few who remember their name. But it is wise to remember them; both as a lesson of what can happen to any great being, and to remember just how much worse it once was.
