She will never get rid of the SM7B's bassy tone because the microphone capsule is PHYSICALLY at the bottom of the foam cover. So it will naturally give it that "tone" unless she turns on the high pass filter switch on it and also fiddles with the filter settings in her interface or directly in OBS. If she really wants to sound clear, she needs to switch to a condenser microphone. She could get something like a rode NT1 mic, which is naturally much more clear. She doesn't have excessive background noise so a condenser would be fine for her. None of this information is useful to anyone and I'm just randomly sperging out about mics because I will never tell Nina any of this directly. Everyone wants to use the SM7b because it's "the" streaming mic but streamers rarely make it sound good. That is all. Carry on.
