>>88777781I cant sleep I need to share more, I cant hold it in, the moment would be lost later.
>darcy and mr collinsThere was a moment in the film when mr collins approaches darcy during the ball and their height difference was apparent. I found that shot very intentional by the director lol
>Mary playing pianoWhen she plays the piano and sings badly, that scene in the novel is meant to show that she is pompous and thinks too highly of herself vs her actual skills. But then she cries into the arms of her father I found that very endearing.
>Mr BennetHes kind of a hands off father. He doesnt like to guide his daughters and the aunt and uncle Elizabeth tours the Darcy home with are more like her parents
>BingleyWhen Bingley grabbed Janes dress and you got really excited I thought you were really cute. I also thought it was super cute that you kept leaning into your sister to emphasize your gasps and points. You're amazing.
>mr collins proposal to elizabethThat was really awkward, and they actually did end up showing that he married Elizabeths friend. Which Ill write more on tomorrow I have a lot to say on that.
>mr and mrs bennetMrs bennet calls her husband mr bennet and it reminded me of a Catholic etiquette book I was reading. Apparently back in those days it was normal for a wife to call her husband "my lord". I thought that was cool. That wouldnt be a bad thing for my wife to call me, but I do have my preferred name Id like to be called. The one I referred to in my previous post.
>Darcy at collins houseWhen Darcy sees Elizabeth at the collins house, and he cant get the words out to Elizabeth, completely spills his spaghetti, and then runs away. That was a fun scene. I actually really enjoyed it.
>more on heightSomeone said you prefer taller men, thats really cool, its okay dont be ashamed, embrace it. Youre tall, you want a taller man, nothing wrong with that. We all have our preferences. Dont be afraid to be who you are, your future husband will love you for who you are. Quirks and all. He will especially love the parts of you that you find insecure about yourself. Your height for example, no more squatting down for pictures, your husband will love you exsctly for who you are.
>questionTheres no point in asking which of the characters you fancy the most because I know the answer is Darcy. So i want to ask a more interesting question, which of all the characters do i fancy the most? Is it one of the bennet sisters?
Knowing what you know about me do I fancy Jane? The eldest, most beautiful, and kind, modest, and gentle.
Or Elizabeth? Beautiful in her own right but not like Jane, headstrong, sassy at times, quick witted, not the picture of regency standards but there's something about her that makes her stand out.
Mary? Who you described as religious. She does like to read books.
Or Kitty and Lydia? Who are boy crazy and immature.
Maybe Elizabeths best friend? Who wants security over romance.
Maybe Bingleys sister? Shes competitive, she knows what she wants, shes a total lady but a little bit bitchy.
What about Darcys sister Georgiana? Described in the novel as "tall, and on a larger scale than Elizabeth; and, though little more than sixteen, her figure was formed, and her appearance womanly and graceful. She was less handsome than her brother; but there was sense and good humour in her face, and her manners were perfectly unassuming and gentle.." Am I into her?
Or Lady Catherine de bourgh? I'll give her a non sickly heir, lets go. Am I the type that would say I can fix her? Theres only one way to fix women like her and I was born ready.
Or lastly Catherine de bourghs sickly daughter, Miss de Bourgh? Who in the novel Elizabeth described as "She is quite a little creature. Who would have thought that she could be so thin and small?" And also as "She looks sickly and cross" am I into her?
Which of these women would I be most interested in? Tbh theres three that are good picks, but if I had to pick one who would it be?
