>>67847299>is this like, true beginner shit? i don't even know hiragana etc...the first course is basic listening practice. meaning, you won't really be doing any writing or reading. the idea is to pick up vocabulary and a basic understanding of grammar. it's based off Tae Kim's guide to japanese, which i think is an excellent less dull way of getting into the language. once you get more familiar with that, you'll be able to start learning the ganas and it'll feel much easier and intuitive since you'll have a better entry into it
