After watching Lulu’s current stream, I get this weird detached feeling from her streams. She reads every chat, but she seems really robotic when doing so, like she barely cares about them. A lot of “haha I love you chat just kidding haha” stuff too, it makes her streams feel really impersonal, especially compared to super-parasocial girls like Poette. She clings on to too many of her genmates (first it was Clotho, then Lumi, now Rixxy), seemingly for clout. She’s the only tuber who tried to get her own exclusive restreamer. And she does a lot of engagement baiting, but she never engages people beyond surface-level discussions, dodging any topic that seems even slightly controversial like religion. I dunno, I just get this really business-only vibe from her that contradicts her “genki gyaru free-loving cowgirl” persona. I’d call her a grifter, but that would imply some level of success. She just seems too distant from her audience to form an actual bond with them besides “sexy big booba cowgirl unga bunga”.
