>>33840305I don't know, all of mine were complete accidents and didn't last.
When I was a kid I interacted with people on their youtube profiles when they were super customized and just reached out to anyone that had anime on it. Made two friends like that, but some years later they decided to only care about IRL despite us talking 24/7.
Then when 4chan was more popular I would add people in my teens on AIM or Skype and if they were cool I'd keep them, otherwise I'd delete. Had a good amount of friends but only one stuck with me to this day.
HS friends forced me to use Facebook and I made an alt so I could join anime groups and I think that was the most "friends" I had, but after some troubles I stopped talking to most of them save a small group of 7, which then became 5, then 3, then only two guys I really talked to, but I fucked it up big time because of college stress and I only talk to one of them now.
I joined a videogame forum in college and made two "friends" like that out of a group of 12 or so, but they're not people I can really count on.
Now the internet is full of underage people and schizos and I don't ever want to try talking to anyone.
All my HS friends dropped anime/games to become super normalfags, all my college friends WERE super normalfags, and I've never met anyone here that had even remotely similar interests to mine, so y'know what, I'm ok with just talking to the people here despite how bad they can be sometimes.
