>>36691789Actually, Rat would be the only one without a fragment on earth. Kinda. While the other spirits left and left a fragment behind, Rat stayed with the creature(brrats) and just kinda chilled. So while rats in general would be considered sacred animals, there wouldn't be a giant Rat beast that governs them, unlike the Lord of the Sky for example, which would be the "patron deity" of Mother Owls.
Basically, what this myth establishes is that while the other spirits are not here anymore, their fragments are, and in the religion they would be known as Lords of Mountains/Rivers/Forests/Sky respectively. The Rat on the other hand would take on the role of Lord of Souls, since ya know, it kinda gave it to us. I'd have to explain this a bit more, but it's 2am here, and it's time to get some mc'ds.
