IIRC, it grew out of that one drunk membership stream where he humored a couple fanservice requests, which included winking (while zoomed in and with his glasses off, so it could be seen better) and blowing kisses to the audience. People were posting screenshots of him hiding behind the desk because it was funny. Straightbros then started making a fuss because they were afraid a couple kisses blown to the audience would turn them gay. So their bitching got mocked by exaggerating how much of a whore Nowa is for doing that very minor fanservice. Glassesless/mischievous Vesper peeking from behind the bookcase continued to be posted along with mocking whore comments & PUT SOME GLASSES ON YOU WHORE, and the whore meme snowballed.
P.S. the most famous glassesless Vesper pic is actually from a much older stream where he showed off his emotes, but it was posted alongside the other glassesless Nowa pics.
