I don' t see the issue apart from it being of an unexpected genre for Hololive / JP music. She went for something different and I can respect that. It reminds me of what Grimes did with overlaying voices and whispers for atmosphere. I didn't try to understand the Japanese lyrics yet, but the sound of it is pretty cool and it honestly fits Marine's voice. If the reference point here is Ahoy, I suppose it's not as fun or upbeat and misses the chibi cardboard Marine jumping around on screen, but hating on the MV makes no sense to me.
Should she make more, different songs? Sure, but I wouldn't call this a downgrade.
