This is a very short spin off for Balsa. I know it's not my most popular series but I'd encourage you to read this so that I can get some critique in how my writing style has improved (or not). I've been reading some fantasy-adventure books and while I haven't finished them, I'd like to test out a bit of what I've picked up while it's still fresh in my head.
It's only five pages so I'd encourage you to give it a chance. It's short, fast and too the point but that was my intention. This was more a practice in prose and action scenes rather than for it to be a story all unto itself. I hope I improved at least a little and if I haven't, tell me why.
