Maeda was the face of AKB but that was it. All the things that happened behind the scene with the staff's help propped her up. She became a literal nothing and when you see her, you just know her as Maeda Atsuko, the ex-AKB member and not Maeda Atsuko, the actress.
I just hope whatever Aqua does she won't come to regret her decision. And if she was to choose, it was the lesser of two evils.
