Youtube chat is a piece of unoptimized shit, it works better on webkit-based browsers. I'm pretty sure the cunts want you to use Chrome or some version of it. Are you using Firefox? If so, switching to
Ungoogled Chromium or Brave may help, that's what I'm doing for live streams. Also I think holodex is better than youtube since there's probably less stuff going on the page, script-wise.
