Also, I didn't see the video, but if he also named someone -- that makes it even more difficult for investigators to obtain a search/arrest warrant unless the preliminary evidence is absolutely airtight because courts have to take any public speculation/rumors into account to determine if those affected the investigative process and added bias. Tipping criminals off that investigators are closing in is also not a good idea because it could also lead to retaliation by the criminal against witnesses, which is why they are arguing the video puts them in harms way. Essentially, that one video might have fucked everything up.
