>>91460799Gros Michel Anon here, welcome back to the new week! Big changes are afoot so let's get to it.
ANYCOLOR BACK ON TOP
Anycolor is once again crowned king as the stock surges high to close out at 2796 yen (142) for the day. Their performance would be rather flat despite a decent start, it would only be until a hour after lunch would Anycolor see a inexplicable meteoric rise up to barely miss the 2800s. Anycolor has now seen a 467 yen gain since the release of their Q2 report.
I will say, I think my predictions in my write up we're heavily flawed in retrospect. With two major factors I simply didn't evaluate properly in Cover's Q2 performance building a foundation of positive reinforcement for the industry and secondly dividends not being paid out until the 14th of January.
Looking back at Anycolor's performance in the days between the Q2 report for Cover's and their own, the lack of movement may be attributed to the consecutive large misses on their forecasts to begin with as well as the degrading of their potential overseas leading to some apprehensive on buying to not be burned again. But now that Anycolor has shown the ability that they can still hit record revenue numbers as well as Q3/Q4 being more heavy hitting with events like NijiFes, this finally gave investors confirmation to hold/buy in. Even if Anycolor barely misses forecasts on the almost slimmest of margins.
I won't speak on where I think they'll plateau at, they already forced fed me enough crow to last until New Years. But I will say, Cover managed to jump up by over 1000 yen to get back to the late February/March numbers they had (and currently have) at the moment. It's not too far fetched to say they could see a similar path.
COVER STUTTERS
Cover stocks won't be able to take advantage of the surges still, as the stock crumples down to 2665 (-79) yen to start off the week. Their performance saw them firmly in the red, but they would at least stabilize around the mid to high 2600s after lunch. It seems for now Cover is settling around the 2600s-2700s for now (just ignore the first week of December.)
OTHER
The positions have changed, and the gap is now 131 yen in Anycolor's favor.
The NIKKEI is rather neutral, but still sees a 0.03% loss for the day.
