COVER REBOUNDS
Cover manages to escape the Red Sea of losses as they climb up to 2537 yen (25) for their final price of the week. Performance overall saw a gradual fall for Cover before lunch, before recovering at a faster rate right after. A encouraging sign especially considering the state of the economy from this time.
COVER'S WEEK IN REVIEW
Cover's week closes out at a 121 yen loss for the week. However it shouldn't be ignored how well Cover has responded to their initial fall, having recovered 232 yen after their collapse on Monday. Still, it's not guaranteed that Cover can fully recover just yet as next week will only make things more uncertain with Anycolor's Q2 report. So don't be surprised if nothing is settled.
ANYCOLOR
Anycolor finally manages to escape from the clutches of 20XX as they close out at 2110 yen (19) for the week. Performance overall was rather stable after a hour and a half, where they barely deviated from the 2110s themselves.
ANYCOLOR WEEK IN REVIEW (ALSO Q2 REPORT PREVIEW)
Anycolor sees a 31 yen loss for the week this time around, somehow still holding up in that 2100-2200 status quo despite languishing in the 20XXs for a significant amount of time.
However the big thing to talk about will be the Q2 report coming up on the 11th next week (or 10th depending where you live.) While I currently don't intend to do a full deep dive on what they did in Q2 due to time constraints, it'll be hard to gauge how they'll do. Anycolor's forecast has them making 10-10.5 billion yen this quarter which is something they've never done. Hell, they've never even hit 9 Billion yen before.
However Anycolor does have a X-Factor this time around, they claim in their Q1 report that "several hundreds of million yen" were being deferred to the next quarter or later, although how much specifically for Q2 is uncertain. But at the same time, that may be wasted on trying to make up for NijiEN's decreases in revenues. Which speaking of, still has a very possible chance of bleeding revenue although it's hard to say if that'll happen still. It will be solely up to JP for the most part to make sure they hit those numbers.
Regardless, even if they don't hit those numbers do not be surprised to see them pull a dividend's announcement or another buyback. Although, I won't be surprised if this buyback/dividend sees even less success compared to the last two attempts this year. Anycolor is looking more and more stagnant as the days go on, and this fiscal year overall is looking to be a make or break moment for their future.
OTHER
The gap between the two widens slightly, with Cover having a 427 yen advantage on their competitor.
The NIKKEI only sees red with a 0.77% loss
