Anyway on topic, at least this cements my feelings that Aqua truely was behind canning her operation in Hololive. If you have Subaru basically begging to call it off, Nene going full Nene, then Aqua was under no pressure to exit. She was just wanting to bounce from Hololive (bf/baby? Insert "yes, mine" etc). Point is Aqua had Suisei and Start End projects backing Aqua and making her untouchable in the company for some time, along with Japanese culture of not wanting to fire people overtly, so there isn't anyone in Hololive who could pressure her to leave. She just had a woman moment and left Shuba to pick up the pieces.
Very sad situation, but Subaru can fit in any generation and move forward.
