>>7534940>You can't disable the auto-updater and have to manually fuck off the exe to stop it.Chrome and Edge are both like this, although at least with Edge you can use GPO to "neatly" postpone or even block updates. For Chrome I had to block the Google Auto Updater.exe in my firewall before I just ditched it entirely.
Outside of maybe Firefox ESR
and portable installations of Firefox, I can't think of a single browser that does still let you AWAY the updates.
