>>57657922>>57657985>>57658023>>57658110to be clear, my issue with VTA isn't the quality of talents, it's the fact none of them needed to go through VTA to be successful. criticizing their content choice as just doing the same shit as everyone else is meant to highlight that VTA hasn't shaken up the industry at all, so what's the point? the most impactful Nijisanji hires in the last 2 years, salome and lauren, didn't even go through VTA. the concept was supposed to be taking people with no prior experience and developing them into good vtubers, but so far their success cases are people who were already experienced in streaming and only went through VTA because they were required to. if I were an investor i'd be questioning why they didn't just debut people like roca and hibari right away in the main branch so they could have some kind of surprise factor the way salome did.
