I'll admit, I was really kind of cross about the sudden absence... hearing his voice instantly pacified me though, he's always cute talking about his breaks that it's hard to stay mad and I quickly realized just how much i missed him. He actually took notes this time! This goober invited himself to Japan... but I'm happy he got the chance to meet coworkers and visit friends/family. He says he's not a good storyteller but there's something charming and comforting about the autistic play-by-play he gives of his trips. Things like listing off all the movies he watched on the plane, the way he greeted shu in the hotel lobby, describing all the little aus souvenirs he brought for his family and everyone in EN, etc. even if he says everyone else already gave most of the deets about the trip, I most look forward to his perspective especially because of those silly little details (and also so he can fill in the gaps, e.g. him avoiding the cinnamoroll cafe in favor of hanging out with family). Sonny talking about Luca like his retarded little brother always warms my heart, I knew there was something fishy about that hotel stream... It is kind of funny how the novelty of Japan seems to have worn off a little for him, leaving him most excited about the food. I ate before stream but I still got hungry hearing him talk about yakiniku and baked goods. Lot of cafe visits, lot of karaoke, shopping around, although my frugal husband didn't seem to buy much. Sonny isn't materialistic, I'm not materialistic... WE ARE? I'm also jealous as fuck of uki and that is all I can say without going schizo. Overall despite my frustrations I'm happy he could get out of the heat for a bit, have a lot of fun in Japan and meet up with some new and old friends. Must have been really cool meeting jp senpais like oliver and mikoto, he's come so far... hope he's feeling recharged and ready to get back in the groove of things now that he's home. God I wish I could experience his hugs. Okaeri!
For some reason I feel a little nervous about day drinking during the noctyx zatsu especially since we learned he has not yet abandoned his sink vomiting ways, but I'll try to suppress my inner concernfag and trust him to keep it light. Cautiously optimistic for tipsy yellow funnyman! I'm excited for the killing floor collab later this week and especially looking forward to a return to comfy gaming streams... also I do wonder if the fabled VR stream is soon or "soon" but I will remain patient all the same.
