forming a cult on /asp/ was never a good idea and was done with bad intent by bad people. good people tagged along for as long as they could. but their need for companionship is not worth the misery the bad eagerly spread.
ideally, it should have remained ad-hoc, as this site is known for. cults bring formations that stifle open, careless speech in favour of personalities
luckily the solution is easy, just accelerate the demise of this place and the nature of 4chan being anonymous will prevail because it's architected that way. what comes next is: the clique that has formed here will become increasingly embarrassing to be a part of. good people tend to do things the 'right way', and will seek companionship in challenging, but correct ways elsewhere, while the miserables are desperate for companionship and will increasingly find it only with each other, they'll stay because the nature of being desperate compels them. being bad, they're unable to find it elsewhere. the clique will become increasingly negative, sorry, and self-sabotaging as their mean and desperate nature has already formed a worsening 'crab mentality' that forbids anyone from leaving peacefully or succeeding out. you'll also see clique-appeasing streamers suffering burnout more frequently.
since accelerationism sooner departs the good people from bad fate, then morally speaking, the trolls /here/ are the most good people left
