Also I found chicken to be a godsend for poorfags. Just like Mumei. Buy lots of thigh meat and freeze them. They are usually a lot cheaper than other meats per pound. Thighs also benefit from being more versatile and harder to screw up compared to breasts. Something like an oyakodon is super quick and easy.
