>>71828287It's an extremely well-done fan remake that had a ton of effort put into it over the course of a decade, and a lot of people will always be upset that it got shut down (officially at least) because Nintendo didn't want it competing with their own remake.
Personally I'm of the opinion that RoS, AM2R and SR are all perfectly good ways to enjoy the second game, they're all different enough to have their own merits.
