From what I can tell seasonal forests (including deciduous forest) tend to have denser undergrowth because during the dry season the tall trees lost their leaves so sunlight can reach the forest ground and let the small plants grow, while evergreen forest only let light reach the ground when old trees fall (or near the edge of the forest) so the ground level’s mostly clear of plants outside of creepers and fern. Temperate rainforest (including the alpine forest that covers northeastern /uuu/ stretching into /vnug/) would be mostly cloud forest where the water condense into fog which makes the undergrowth more dense (and trees shorter?) and give the place a more hauntingly beautiful atmosphere! I should actually write something with that
