>>49858942Thanks for the detailed explanation, anon. As long as everyone sticks by the "rules" of coming up with something sensible then yeah, I can see how CRP can work.
I'm not the anon who said he didn't know how to write action, but coincidentally I am writing a fic with a few action scenes in it. I tend to just keep the action (and the associated descriptions) minimal, though when I read that
OL Reine fic, I also saw the benefit of having detailed, but smooth descriptions (it was smut and we're talking action scenes, but still)
As for contact, I realize that I haven't included an email address with the fics that I've released so far, so I'll probably make one and put it in there once I'm done with the full release.
I'm the guy who wrote the Operation Nimrod pilot and The Scent of Lavender>If you need props, pick up some sticks from the local park to act as weapons, you can clean them off by using some water, and shave off their ancillary bits with some elbow grease and knifework. You know, I bought a 357 Python revolver replica from China like pic related for this reason. It's helped me a lot with scenes involving aiming pistols and such, so I'll say this advice is plenty useful
